Motorists to welcome Apr. with retail price hikes

MANILA: Local players will increase the price of fuel tomorrow, marking the second hike after consecutive cuts of pump prices.

    Tomorrow, the price of gasoline will increase by P1.40 per liter while diesel will jump by P1.20 per liter.

    The said changes are expected to take effect tomorrow.

    • Based on their corresponding advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall  increase the price of gasoline by P1.40 per liter and diesel by P1.20 per liter.

    Further, the market will see a bump in the price of kerosene by P1.20 per liter. 

    Other brands are expected to follow suit.

    The aforementioned adjustments will take effect tomorrow, (April 1). 

    Last week’s movement 

    Last week, the price of gasoline jumped by over a peso, while the costs of diesel and kerosene saw a slight movement. The table below shows the increase implemented on March 25. 

    Gasoline

    +P1.10 per liter

    Diesel

    +P0.40 per liter

    Kerosene

    +P0.40 per liter
