Motorists welcome 2nd week of August with fuel price rollbacks

MANILA:  Motorists will welcome the second week of August with a rollback in fuel prices after several increases in the past few weeks.

    Companies will decrease P0.40 per liter on the price of gasoline, P1.50 per liter on diesel, and P1.30 per liter on kerosene.

    The prices will be implemented on August 12, 2025.
  • According to companies Unioil, Cleanfuel, Petron, and Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Incorporated, gasoline prices will decrease by P0.40 per liter, while the cost of diesel will be slashed by P1.50 per liter. 

    Meanwhile, companies that sell kerosene will cut its cost by P1.30 per liter. 

    These changes are expected to take effect tomorrow, August 12.
