Move It has launched its latest initiative that will give rider-partners a new income stream with their safety vests.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What is Move It's latest additional earning program?

Move It's latest additional earning initiative is called Advertiser Vest Program.
  • Who will provide the vest advertisements to Move It rider partners?

Move It will produce, manage, and deploy the vest advertisements.
  • Called the Advertiser Vests Program, the industry-first alternative income stream allows rider-partners to earn additional income — additive to the existing earning such as in-app bookings and post-service tipping.

“Move It is deeply committed to creating a better life for our rider-partners and their families, and key to that is ensuring that our rider-partners earn a decent and viable living from our platform. By providing them access to various income opportunities, we are optimistic that they can earn more, and succeed in their pursuits. As we offer to commuters a motorcycle-hailing service that is safe, honest, and affordable, we also remain determined to help our rider-partners and their families achieve financial security and stability,” Move It General Manager Wayne Jacinto was quoted as saying.

Under the new initiative, Move It maximizes their rider-partners’ income through the added earning opportunity. “This further demonstrates the motorcycle taxi company’s undivided commitment to providing its rider-partners with accessible, above-par livelihood solutions,” the company said in a statement.

Additionally, Move It explained that it will be responsible for the production, management, and deployment of the vest advertisements. Select rider-partners will be issued with the campaign materials for hassle-free onboarding. Earnings of rider-partners will vary depending on the period of the ad campaign.

Further, Move It noted that it is implementing low commission rates that allows its rider-partners to take home high net earnings. Its post-service tipping mechanism within the app gives riders additional earnings from satisfied passengers.

Moreover, the firm also has its own incentives system that rewards rider-partners in monetary form based on several factors, which include passenger rating and total bookings accomplished.

Furthermore, Move It rider-partners also have insurance packages so that they can make claims for benefits and financial assistance should an untoward incident happen on the road.

Lastly, Move It shared that it is working closely with various brand partners to provide its rider-partners exclusive deals to motorcycle parts and accessories, fuel, maintenance, medicines, and even end-to-end registration packages.

To note, Move It is the motorcycle taxi that was acquired by mobile app giant Grab.
