Nissan dealer principal bares opening of 3 more showrooms by 2024
One of the dealer principals of Nissan in the Philippines expressed his growing confidence in the brand and its leadership as he revealed that he will be opening three more dealerships by 2024.
In an interview following its official handover and dealer network digital launch for the new Nissan Terra, Southgatemotors Ventures Corporation President Doroteo Sornet said that that the company will further expand its Nissan dealerships to six in three years' time from the current three.
Sornet said that the company will establish dealerships in General Trias and Silang in Cavite as well as in Las Piñas starting 2023 until the following year. He shared that the creation of three dealerships was scheduled at a later date as the group is updating its other dealerships to conform with the global Nissan dealership design by next year.
At present, SVC has a total of three Nissan dealerships in Alabang, Sucat and Dasmariñas, Cavite. Three dealerships are located at the following areas:
- Nissan SVC Sucat: located along Sucat Road,
- Nissan SVC Alabang: in Filinvest Corporate City in Muntinlupa, and;
- Nissan SVC Dasmariñas: along Aguinaldo Highway, Dasmarinas Cavite.
The Sucat dealership is headed its General Manager, Maureen Aribon, Nissan SVC Alabang is under General Manager Jon Gutierrez (who also stands as the Vice President for Aftersales for SVC Group) and Nissan SVC Dasmariñas is led by its General Manager Cristy Borja-Malapitan (who is also the Vice President for Sales for SVC Group).
“The Alabang dealership will be wearing the latest design in line with newest Nissan’s standards while the Dasmariñas showroom will be transformed into a full-blown dealership,” Sornet disclosed to Carmudi Philippines. The construction works, Sornet added, will start in the first quarter next year.
According to him, the abovementioned plans are a testament to the company’s trust and confidence in Nissan. “We put our trust by way of adding more outlets in our assigned areas in the next two to three years to expand Nissan’s reach around the country,” he noted.
Earlier, SVC announced that it will be teaming up with Impenetra Armor Protective Systems to provide the armoring needs of customers.
