Nissan Magnite to arrive in PH?

MANILA: Nissan Philippines might launch the Magnite crossover soon. 

Such an assumption was made by Carmudi Philippines after the Land Transportation Office released homologation papers approving the sale of the Japanese carmaker’s new nameplate in the country. 

Per the documents, the Nissan Magnite will be sold in two variants — VE and VL. 

The two trims will both be powered by a 1.0-liter turbocharged, gasoline-fed mill that is paired with a continuously variable transmission. While no maximum power output was listed, the paperwork revealed that its three-cylinder engine can give the vehicle a top speed of 165 kilometers per hour. 

Size-wise, here is how much the Nissan Magnite will measure:

Its overall dimensions will be reinforced by a set of 16-inch wheels finished with 195/60 radial tires. 

Looking at its proportions, the Nissan Magnite will face competition in the form of the Toyota Raize and the Kia Sonet.
