Oil firms halt price drop streak
Fuel companies in the Philippines will be stopping the series of pump price rollbacks tomorrow (Tuesday, August 23).

Based on their respective advisories, companies will implement a price increase on diesel by P2.60 per liter, gasoline products by P0.70 per liter and kerosene by P2.80 per liter.Based on their respective advisories, Petron, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Total Philippines, Seaoil Philippines, and Unioil will jack up the price of diesel by P2.60 per liter, and gasoline products by P0.70 per liter.
Many of the aforementioned firms will also implement a P2.80-per-liter-hike on the retail price of kerosene.
Other players are expected to implement the same adjustment.
Last week, local oil players slashed P1.05 per liter on diesel, P0.10 on gasoline, and P0.45 per liter on kerosene.
