Oil firms jack up diesel, kerosene anew

Oil players in the Philippines jacked up the retail prices of diesel and kerosene anew — the second straight week for the last quarter of 2024.

    • Based on their corresponding advisories yesterday, Cleanfuel, Caltex, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall add P1.20 per liter on the price of diesel this week. Those that sell kerosene will also implement a P0.70-per-liter increase for kerosene, their announcements stated.

    However, the pricing of gasoline will not have any price change this week.

    The movements on the retail prices commenced today (October 10).

    Last week, companies opened the last quarter of the year by adding P0.45 per liter on gasoline products, P0.90 per liter on diesel, and P0.30 per liter for kerosene.
