Oil firms to cut down prices by at least P1.30/L this week

Oil companies in the Philippines shall conduct big-time price rollbacks on their products at the pump this week.

    • Based on their respective advisories, Cleanfuel, Caltex, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil will reduce the retail price of gasoline products by P1.55 per liter and diesel by P1.30 per liter.

    In addition, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall cut down the price of kerosene shall also slide by P1.40 per liter.

    The price slide in the retail prices — which other companies are expected to similarly conduct — will be effective beginning tomorrow (September 10).

    Last week, local oil firms increased the price of gasoline products by P0.50 per liter, diesel by P0.30 per liter, and kerosene by P0.70 per liter.
