Oil Pump Price Hike Halts Downward Trend

After three consecutive rollbacks, fuel companies have hiked the prices on their pump today, Tuesday, June 18.

Pilipinas Shell in its statement said that it has imposed an additional PHP0.35 on gasoline, PHP0.25 on kerosene, and PHP0.201 on diesel at 6 AM .

Independent oil giant Cleanfuel posted similar price adjustment for their fuel that will take effect at 4 PM.

Reports stated that Seaoil Philippines, PetroGazz, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Pilipinas Shell, Total Philippines, and PTT Philippines also made the same price hike this morning.

The price hike halted the downward trend on price adjustments, that led to a total of more than PHP4 for both diesel and gasoline.
