Petron Reveals Latest Lube Product Line in Petron High Temperature Protection

Local oil giant Petron Corporation has introduced a new formidable line-up in its product range, increasing its product offerings in the Philippine market. Last Wednesday, October 3, Petron revealed its latest product line, the Petron High Temperature Protection line-up in its lubricant portfolio which includes engine oils, automatic transmission and brake fluids, gear oil, and grease.

For its engine oils, Petron unveiled the Petron Blaze Racing HTP for gasoline engines and Petron Rev-X Turbo HTP for the diesel counterpart. Specially formulated with high-quality base oils, the fully-synthetic Petron Blaze Racing HTP has been added with Polyalphaolefin, which provides better oxidation and thermal resistance than mineral base oil, and an advanced additive system to meet the most severe and stringent requirements of high-performance gasoline engines. The product is said to protect engine against wear and corrosion for longer engine life and has been approved and certified according to the specifications of API SN, MB Approval 229.5, MB Approval 229.#, and Porsche A40. On the other hand, the fully synthetic Petron Rev-X Turbo HTP is highly recommended for naturally aspirated and turbocharged or supercharged high-performance heavy-duty diesel engines. Formulated with PAO base oil, this engine oil provides extended engine protection due to its outstanding oxidation and thermal stability while preventing soot and piston deposits for superior engine cleanliness and efficiency. Petron Rev-X Turbo HTP is approved and licensed according to the specifications of API-CJ-4/SN, MAN 3575, Cummins CES 20081, MB Approval 228.31, Volvo VDS-4, Mack EO-O Premium Plus.

The Petron GHTP Gear Oil is a fully synthetic, premium grade lubricant formulated to withstand high thermal and oxidation levels to protect automotive axles, limited slip differentials, and manual transmissions. Compatible with commonly-used seal materials, the GHTP Gear Oil has excellent water separability and air releasing ability and provides superior axle wear protection under high temperature conditions, enables smooth and non-slip transmission even under shudder conditions, and has proven superior transmission performance.

The Petron ATF Premium HTP also has similar benefits with the GHTP, but is specifically-developed for automatic transmissions by having extended protection in friction stability and clutch durability. Aside from that, the ATF Premium HTP protects, bearings, clutch plates, seals and other components from wear and corrosion, and its excellent foaming characteristics ensure optimum function and longer transmission life.

Petron Grease HTP is a premium grade, heavy duty high-temperature grease formulated with a lithium complex thickener and high-quality base oils. Developed to provide excellent oxidation characteristics and outstanding work shear stability, the Petron Grease HTP automotive applications include chassis and suspension parts, ball joints, and wheel bearings, as well as on industrial gear and bearing sets, bushings, slides, fifth wheels, farm and off-highway equipment, and others.

Lastly, the Petron Brake Fluid HTP is a high-performance brake fluid designed for high-temperature braking systems, exceeding the performance of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 116 DOT 4. With its excellent boiling point as well as outstanding physical and chemical stability, it ensures safe and efficient braking performance.
