PH oil firms to trim down pump prices anew for May 2024

Fuel companies in the Philippines are set to implement another round of pump price cuts — the third straight reduction seen within the month of May.

    This week,gasoline prices shall go down by P2 per liter, diesel by P0.50 per liter, and kerosene by P0.85 per liter.

    The adjustments will be conducted as early as 12:01 a.m. of May 14, 2024.

    • Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil will trim down the retail pricing of gasoline products by P2 per liter and diesel by P0.50 per liter.

    Aside from that, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall also conduct a P0.85-per-liter trim on the price of kerosene at the pump.

    The alterations in pricing shall take effect as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow.

    Last week, gasoline products slid down by P0.75 per liter, diesel by P0.90 per liter, and kerosene by P1.05 per liter.
