Phase 2 of Plaridel Bypass Road Project Nearly Complete
Traveling between the North Luzon Expressway in Balagtas, Bulacan and the Philippine-Japan Friendship Highway, also known as the Maharlika Highway, in San Rafael, Bulacan will soon only take 30 minutes with the near-completion of the Phase 2 of Plaridel Bypass Road Project.
The 24.61-kilometer Plaridel Bypass Road is funded by the Philippine government and the Japan International Cooperation Agency and includes a 1.12-kilometer bridge constructed of pre-stressed concrete continuous box girder main span erected by balance cantilever method that spans the Angat River.
The Plaridel Bypass Road Project is in line with the policy instruction of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark A. Villar to ensure the delivery of quality "Build, Build, Build" construction products for the traveling public.
