Pre-All-Saints' Day fuel price hike set this week

Fuel companies shall implement price hikes on their retail products a few days before expected surge of motorists for the upcoming long weekend for the observance of the All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day.

    This week, oil firms will add P0.20 per liter on the retail price of gasoline products, and P0.50 per liter on both diesel and kerosene.

    The adjustments will take effect starting October 29, 2024.

    • Based on their advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil are set to implement a P0.20-per-liter increase on gasoline products, and P0.50 per liter on diesel.

    Aside from that, the kerosene products shall be retailed with an P0.50-per-liter addition.

    The movements in pricing will take effect tomorrow (October 29) — with other companies expected to follow suit.

    Last week, oil firms reduced P0.50 per liter on gasoline, P0.70 per liter on diesel, and P0.85 per liter on kerosene.
