RAM expands light-duty truck lineup with 1500 TRX Havoc Edition

RAM trucks unveiled the 1500 TRX Havoc Edition, which effectively expands the brand’s light-duty truck lineup.

Per the Michigan-based automotive brand, the 1500 TRX Havoc Edition offers customers another option for exterior and interior appointments and content.

“The Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition offers another unique way for our passionate customers to separate themselves from the crowd with the segment's best combination of performance, capability, and technology. We're always exploring new ideas and looking for ways to offer new content as we continue to win over more and more buyers,” said RAM Chief Executive Officer Mike Koval Jr.

Powering the RAM 1500 TRX Havoc is a 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine, which according to the carmaker, can deliver power for extending driving sessions without degradation in performance.

Other notable features of the RAM 1500 TRX Havoc include unique exterior appointments, which are its unique Baja Yellow exterior color and graphics, 18-inch all-black bead-lock capable wheels, dual pane panoramic sunroof, spray-in bed liner, cargo tie-downs, bed step, and an LED cab-mounted brake light.

Inside, the RAM 1500 TRX Havoc Edition comes with Prowler Yellow accent stitching, an embroidered "TRX" seat back logo, unique carbon fiber accents, a leather and carbon fiber flat-bottom steering wheel, a unique center console badge, Head-up Display, and a driver's screen that features TRX in Baja Yellow.

Safety-wise, RAM said that the 1500 TRX Havoc Edition is equipped with adaptive cruise control, Lane Keep Assist, and pedestrian emergency braking.

The 2023 RAM 1500 TRX Havoc Edition models will be made available in very limited quantities, although the company did not say how many, and are expected to go on sale in early 2023.

Price, according to RAM, starts at US$104,550 (P5.831 million).
