Registered owner of ‘loud’ MC faces SCO from LTO
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has issued a Show Cause Order (SCO) against the registered owner of a motorcycle.

Per LTO, the motorcycle owner is facing at least three traffic violations.Per LTO, the said motorcycle became a subject of a public disturbance complaint in Pasig City. The said complaint pertained to the loud noise created by the motorcycle due to an accessory installed while roaming around Santolan in Pasig City.
On that note, the LTO is asking the owner to explain why he should not be held liable for at least three violations relating to traffic rules and regulations.
Further, the owner is being summoned to appear before the National Capital Region office of LTO on October 16, 2023.
Should he fail to comply with the said SCO, the LTO will proceed to taking legal action against the motorcycle owner.
“Nagpapatunay lamang ito na mabilis ang aksyon ng inyong LTO sa mga reklamo na ipapa-abot ng ating mga kababayan hindi lamang sa isyu ng road rage king hindi na rin mga kaso ng pang-aabuso sa kalsada gaya ng insidenteng ito (This only proves that the LTO immediately responds to the complaints reported by the public, not only about issues regarding road rage, but also with other forms of abuse on the road like this incident),” noted LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Attorney Vigor Mendoza II.
“Kaya hinihikayat natin ang ating mga kababayan na agad ipag-bigay alam sa inyong LTO ang mga violation na may kinalaman sa road safety at public disturbance involving motor vehicles (We encourage the public to report to the LTO any violation regarding road safety and public disturbance involving motor vehicles), he added.
