SGAP, MNV Group open Geely Iloilo

Following the soft launch of its two latest dealerships in the Luzon grid, Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) continues to open more facilities, with the recent inauguration of Geely Iloilo.

In a statement, Geely Iloilo (developed in partnership with the MNV Group) is the second Geely outlet in the Visayas region. The opening of Geely Iloilo, SGAP claimed, is expected to boost the brand’s presence in Western Visayas, expressing belief that the aforementioned area is an emerging automotive market.

Located on Benigno Aquino Ave. Brgy. Dungon, Jaro, Iloilo City, the newest dealership of Geely in the country is its 14^th overall since the local importer took over the distributorship in 2019. Covering 1,850 square meters, SGAP boasted that the newly opened showroom was built based on Geely International standards.    

Newly installed SGAP President and Chief Executive Officer Yosuke Nishi expressed eagerness to continue the company's dealership expansion to reach more customers.

“We want to stay true to our commitment to rapidly expand our dealer network to reach our growing number of customers not just in Luzon but also in Visayas and Mindanao. And as always, we are grateful for all our partners’ trust in us as we bring Geely close to more people all over the country,” Nishi was quoted as saying.

Prior to the Geely Iloilo opening, Geely Philippines opened its Cebu dealership January this year.
