Stellantis to return at 2023 Chicago Auto Show with Jeep Camp, Ram Territory Test Track

Stellantis announced that it will return to the upcoming 2023 Chicago Auto Show with the Jeep Camp and the Ram Territory Test Track.

The aforementioned attractions will showcase the capabilities of Jeep and Ram automobiles to participants who will experience them firsthand.

Scheduled for February 9, the 2023 Chicago Auto Show will host Jeep Camp. A staple of the automotive expo, Camp Jeep will offer attendees free off-road test track rides in all of the newest Jeep sport utility vehicles (SUV), which are the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, Jeep Wrangler 4xe, Jeep Wrangler 392, Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit.

Jeep Camp will feature an interactive adventure zone where professional drivers give riders the opportunity to experience off-road capabilities on the tallest 28-foot high Jeep Mountain, with 45-degree approach and departure angles.

Event-goers also experience a five-foot ground-clearance stair climb, an extreme break-over obstacle, an off-camber stability side slope, a 30-degree banked articulation wedge, and maneuverability moguls that demonstrate suspension travel capabilities.

Additionally, 2023 Chicago Auto Show attendees can get the chance to participate in the Ram Territory Test Track. Similar to the aforementioned Jeep Camp, the Ram Territory Test Track offers free off-road test track rides aboard the Ram 1500 Limited, Ram 1500 Rebel, Ram 2500 Limited, Ram 2500 Power Wagon, and Ram 3500 Limited Night Edition.

The Ram Territory Test Track consists of a series of steel culverts that showcases ride-handling capability and suspension options. Riders will also feel the traction and experience hill-descent technology on the iconic Ram Mountain, a 13-foot high, as well as a 30-foot long course element with a 30-degree approach and departure angles.

Moreover, the technology of the trucks will be displayed as professional drivers highlight the vehicle’s 360-degree camera technology, class-exclusive four-corner air ride suspension, multifunction tailgate, 12.1-inch touchscreen, and acoustic NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) features.

The Ram 1500 Revolution battery-electric vehicle (BEV) Concept — revealed at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January — will also make its auto show debut at the 2023 Chicago Auto Show. At the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept display, Ram brand Chief Executive Officer, Mike Koval, will discuss how the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept provides a glimpse into the future and demonstrates how the industry’s leading truck brand will once again redefine the pickup truck segment.
