Suzuki PH Further Elevates Ranking in PH Sales
Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) has crept in closer to the top once again after showing its firepower in sales to start the second half of 2019.
Posting a company-wide historic climb, SPH posted a 41-percent sales growth year-to-date for the first seven months of the year. The said numbers earned them the fifth spot in the industry.
On a month-to-date sales figures, July sales for the Japanese subcompact distributor bagged fourth place among top brands.
SPH attributed the stellar sales performance to their key drivers such as the all-new Ertiga, Swift, and Celerio, which have been consistent in driving sales and building up the brand’s standing in the market.
Just last month, SPH has breached the top five distributor barrier in the local automotive industry, enjoying a 14-percent increase in sales year-on-year to cap the first half of 2019.
The figures posted earned them a notch higher in the total automotive industry, climbing into the sixth spot, and fifth in the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) ranking.
Spurred by the back-to-back successes in the first half og 2019 and with consistent marketing efforts, SPH warms up for much more exciting initiatives for the remaining months of the year.
These include the ongoing series of Auto Festival exhibits at SM City BF Parañaque (August 17-18), SM City General Santos (September 21-22), and SM City Davao (October 26-27).
