Suzuki UK launches S-Cross Full Hybrid Motion, Ultra

Suzuki announced that the S-Cross Full Hybrid is now available in the United Kingdom (UK). It is available in two variants: Motion and Ultra.

The Motion variant comes with standard exterior appointments such as 17-inch painted alloy wheels and signature LED projector headlamps for low and high beams. It also gets a 4.2-inch color LCD instrument panel as well as a seven-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Its convenience amenities include heated front seats, dual-zone air conditioning, and keyless entry and start. Safety-wise, the Motion grade is equipped with Traffic Sign Recognition, Blind Spot Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control, front and rear parking sensors, as well as a rear parking camera, among others.

The Ultra trim builds on the Motion’s features and adds Suzuki’s AllGrip Select four-wheel drive system, a set of 17-inch polished alloy wheels, leather seat upholstery, and a panoramic sliding sunroof. It also has a nine-inch infotainment screen with integrated onboard navigation and further driver safety and convenience with the fitment of a 360-degree view camera.

Both models are equipped with the brand’s 1.5-liter K15C normally aspirated gasoline engine mated to a six-speed AGS (Auto Gear Shift) transmission. Assisting the internal combustion engine (ICE) is Suzuki’s hybrid system which consists of a 140-volt (V) lithium-ion battery and inverter, a Motor Generator Unit (MGU), a 12V lithium-ion battery, and a conventional 12V lead-acid battery.

The Suzuki S-Cross Motion Full Hybrid is priced at £26,749 (P1.782 million) while the Suzuki S-Cross Ultra Full Hybrid has a sticker price of £31,549 (P2.102 million).
