This is the Most "Expensive" and "Exclusive" Motorcycle in the World
Swiss watches have always been known for their precision and quality. Now, if you can find a way to drive it instead of wearing it, then the nearest one you can probably have would be the the Harley-Davidson Bucherer 'Blue Edition' Cruiser by Bucherer. Priced at USD1,882,090, this opulent diamond and gold-plated motorcycle is now considered the most expensive motorcycle in the world today. And it's enough to smash the current world record for the most expensive bike--the 1951 Vincent Black Thunder priced at USD929,000--or around PHP95.6 million pesos--enough to buy you more than 90 subcompact to compact cars in the Philippines today.
This uber- glamorous motorbike is a collaboration between Swiss watchmaker Bucherer, Bundnerbike, the company who transformed it from an originally-customized "Softail Slim S" into the Harley-Davidson Bucherer "Blue Edition" Cruiser bike.
This 1.8-liter V-Twin-powered vehicle has 148Nm of torque, and is paired with a six-speed transmission, and it took 2,500 hours to completely make by hand. There are around 350 diamonds set there--and even the screws and throttle are gold-plated, making them stand out in a sea of metallic blue paint (in six coats). It has heat-resistant LED lights, and the only motorcycle in the world with an engine illuminated from the inside. Of course, there should be a watch there somewhere--specifically a dual integrated kinetic-winding watch to tell you the time. No need to wonder if it's safe there, since it's enclosed in a protective case at all times.
Whatever the case, it's a stunner--an extravagant piece of machinery perhaps, but still a stunner, nevertheless. Of course, we don't know if it'll be great to drive it around the metro, with the Christmas season (and thieves) swarming abound right now. Make sure to have extra HUGE PREMIUMS in your insurance, just in case.
