Volkswagen PH Launches Updated Volkswagen Caddy

Volkswagen Philippines, the exclusive importer and distributor of the leading European car brand in the country in 2016, has quietly brought in its versatile, safe, and powerful multipurpose vehicle (MPV) in the updated Volkswagen Caddy.

Available in two trims, the Comfortline (CL) and Sportline (SL), the Volkswagen Caddy is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged direct injection (TDI) diesel engine that's mated to a seven-speed direct shift gear (DSG) transmission and puts out 102 PS (101 hp) and 250 Nm of torque to efficiently transport cargo and passengers with its seven-seater configuration.

The Caddy is the ideal MPV for families for its flexible seating configuration and its generous cargo space as well as its safety features such as its front, side, and curtain airbags, Hill Hold Control, flat tire indicator, and electronic engine immobilizer, among others.

Standard features for both Caddy variants are Cruise Control, touchscreen audio with six-speaker system and Bluetooth connectivity, leather steering, front fog lights, and exterior mirror auto fold. Differentiating the more upscale Sportline variant from the Comfortline are the 17-inch 'Madrid' alloy wheels, Fontana Red Surface, driver alert system, body-colored protective side moldings with chrome inserts, smoked rear lamp cover, and silver roof rails.

Available exterior colors for the Caddy are Candy White, Deep Black Pearl (CL only), Chestnut Brown (CL only) and Fortuna Red (SL only), with the prices at P1.43 million and P1.48 million for the CL and SL, respectively.
