Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. (YMPH) has created a fashion show and music festival to highlight its latest offering, the Mio Fazzio. The recent activation followed the scooter’s introduction in the country last May.
The newest generation Z icon was displayed during the event — held last October at the Cebu IT Park — to boost the firm’s #StartYOUniqueness campaign.
One of YMPH’s partner, DBTK (Don't Blame the Kids Apparel Co.) also took part by letting every visitor personalize a shirt by choosing from a variety of patches. The evening was filled with music from musicians including G22, Just Hush, Juan Karlos, and Arthur Nery.
In a statement, the YMPH hinted that the #StartYOUniqueness campaign “will reach Gen Zs in Mindanao soon.”
The vehicle’s oval-shaped elements of the headlights, signal lights, taillights and inverted LCD meter panel are some of the funky features of the newly introduced model.
Powering the Yamaha Mio Fazzio is a single-cylinder four-stroke, two valve, single overhead cam 125cc Blue Core hybrid powertrain with smart motor generator and stop and start system. Although sharing the same displacement as with the engines of the Mio i125 S, Soul i 125, Gear and Gravis, the power mill has relatively lower horsepower output (8.3hp) while delivering the same maximum pulling power (9.5Nm torque).
The Yamaha Mio Fazzio — which comes in Ivory White, Cyan, and Red body colors — has a retail price of P88,900.
