YSS Automotive Suspension PH unveils latest products for SUV, pickups

MANILA: YSS Automotive Suspension has brought in two new products that are aimed at providing boosted comfort and handling for sport utility vehicles (SUV) and pickup trucks.

Recently, Gyzmo Global Business Corporation officially unveiled the Thailand-based marque’s offerings namely the DTG-Plus and the Xsport.

Here’s what the two products offer.

DTG-Plus

The YSS DTG Plus are designed for vehicle owners who want improved ride comfort, cornering control, and stability on paved roads when driving their SUV or pickup trucks.

According to the brand’s local distributor, the product features a seven-way adjustable twin-tube gas shock technology for smoother damping or less bouncing motion from the vehicle.

Aside from that, the seven-way compression adjustment can tune the suspension from soft to stiff to fit one’s driving style.

Further, the YSS DTG-Plus is also built to last as it is applied with corrosion-resistant coating. It also comes with a plug-and-play installation with original equipment manufacturer compatibility for vehicles.

YSS XSport

On the other hand, the YSS XSport suspension system is for those clients who opt for a more performance-oriented handling and comfort.

The product incorporates motorsport-inspired engineering that has been tested for racetrack and road use.

This product employs a monotube high-pressure gas technology for superior response, a 12-way adjustable damper (selected models) for customizable handling, and is built with reinforced materials for heavy-duty and performance applications.

It is said to be developed by YSS’s engineering team led by its Research and Development Director Harrie Essens — a known suspension specialist.

Per YSS, Essens has a rich motorsport background as he developed championship-winning vehicles in both circuit racing and rallying across Europe, America, and Asia.

To the unaware, YSS Suspension was established in 1983 that develops, manufactures, and distributes world-class suspensions with a commitment to constantly innovating quality products using complete technology to enable delivering optimal performance and value for its customers.

By 2007, it has put up its European Research and Development Center situated in the Netherlands.
