Premium looking scoot that is available at a pocket friendly price range
Tired of adjusting with the looks of your scooter but yet you want to continue riding on those? Then here comes the golden opportunity to make a shift. Here comes one of the most exquisite and premium looking scooters that I might have ever seen in my lifetime. I was smitten by the design of its front part mainly. Another factor that lured me about the vehicle is its pocket friendly price range. Fuel efficiency wise also this is an unparalleled option. The braking is also a standard one when it comes to the model.

Modern, unique, and sleek!
The Yamaha Mio Sporty is one of those scooters that comes with a reliable and unique approach. Overall, I feel that the scooter has been designed to give the riders a worth on their money. Despite being a bike on the lower end of the offering table, tha automaker ensures to add all the necessary features like a tail lamp and halogen headlamp, while adding LED tech. Overall, the boot space is also unique and and the graphics transcend towards a more edgier appeal with the innovation in its design.

Modern styling: The BeAT is targeted at the youth and the scooter sports a modern styling. It comes in seven attractive color options
Extremely frugal: The scooter is highly fuel-efficient. It has a mileage of more than 60kmpl. This removes refuelling worries during long rides
Potent powertrain: The 110cc engine produces 9 PS and 9 Nm. This makes for a potent powertrain that is ideal for city traffic. The acceleration is prompt
Great Braking: The BeAT has great braking power. The front wheel has a disc brake. That aside, Honda’s comb-braking system activates both brakes simultaneously

Nice engine: The scooter comes with a 114cc, 1-cylinder motor which produces 7.7 PS and 7.2 Nm. The transmission is seamless and the power delivery is smooth
Ride quality: The Mio Sporty has a thermal welded double seat. It’s tougher at the seams. The seat dissipates heat quickly leading to a more comfortable ride
Braking: The two-wheeler has very capable brakes. Even at its price, Yamaha has managed to add a disc brake to the front wheel
By the design of it, it is quite evident that the 2021 Yamaha Mio Sporty is one light and nimble scooter to ride, thanks to its light-weighted nature (kerb weight lies at just 94 kg) and its sleek and lean profile. The scooter is equipped with hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and a unit swing suspension at the rear, and with 14-inch wheels at both ends, it handles pretty well too. In terms of brakes, the 2021 Yamaha Mio Sporty gets a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.

Things we don’t like

Intrusive suspension: The BeAT comes with conventional telescopic front forks and a rear swingarm. Trying to speed up on bad roads leads to a bumpy ride
Lightweight: While being lightweight aids in handling, it also means that the scooter is quick to lose balance. Cornering at high speed is best avoided with this scooter
Expensive: The Hona BeAT is more expensive than most of its rivals. The BeAT is packed with features and maybe that’s why it commands a higher price.
City only: The Honda BeAT is only meant for driving in the city. It’s not even a mid-distance performer.

Lacks power: While the engine is not underpowered, the Mio Sporty should have had a bit more power. This will appeal to more buyers
LEDs: It’s not exactly a downside, but LEDs have almost become a standard in most two-wheelers, even the budget ones. The Mio Sporty could do better with LED lights
Analog cluster: The Mio Sporty comes with an analog instrument panel. A fully digital cluster would be more acceptable to buyers.
Only for the city: Mio Sporty is purely for city use. It can’t be used for long journeys
