Inside, the Changan UNI-K features a sporty-looking cabin, which comes with a combination of premium leather materials and orange stitches. You have loads of headroom and legroom both in the first and second rows. That said, this midsize SUV can comfortably accommodate five passengers. And, on top of this, you get a generous 518-L trunk space at the back even when all the seats are up. 

Upfront, you are greeted by a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display with a smart quadruple screen. Its infotainment is equipped with Apple CarPlay and is linked to a 12-speaker Sony Premium audio system, which delivers high-quality acoustics all around the cabin. This SUV also comes with a wireless charger for more convenience.

Design-wise, the Changan UNI-K is arguably one of the best-looking vehicles produced by the Chinese brand. Its front end looks like a more mature and sophisticated version of the UNI-T’s. The Changan UNI-K utilizes a suspension combination of a MacPherson Strut at the front and a Multi-Link at the rear. Its setup offers just the right balance of softness and firmness. For its size, it is still quite agile to maneuver inside the city and has good absorption of bumps and other road imperfections. Ultimately, this SUV can deliver a smooth and supple riding experience for everyone on board.

Powering the Changan UNI-K is a 2L turbocharged gasoline engine that produces a maximum power output of 229 hp and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. This SUV is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission system and utilizes an all-wheel drivetrain. 

With all of these in mind, the UNI-K is impressively swift off the line thanks to its turbocharged engine’s instantaneous power and torque delivery. You’ll be able to effortlessly overtake slower vehicles on free-flowing highways with this SUV. Similar to its cousins, it also comes with a great NVH suppression system inside its cabin. 

Additionally, it also offers decent fuel economy in the city, even when you are constantly passing through tight traffic. This SUV is equipped with three drive modes: Normal, Sport, and Eco.

In terms of safety, the Changan UNI-K is equipped with a 360-degree-view camera with a drive recorder, an automatic emergency braking system with pedestrian detection and front collision warning, hill assist control, downhill brake control, as well as a voice control feature. This SUV utilizes ventilated discs for front braking, while regular discs for the rear.
