Hyundai H-100

Honestly, the interior of the Hyundai H-100 is really dated. Hence, when entering this vehicle, you’ll probably feel like you travelled back in time. But, then again, it is a vehicle that prioritizes functionality more than anything else. Drivers get a traditional two-spoke steering wheel along with a semi-analog instrument panel that offers an analog gauge cluster and a digital econometer. For entertainment, the H-100 comes with an outdated single din radio that is connected to a basic 2-speaker audio system. Although its vinyl seats lack comfort, they make up for it with practicality, being both easy to clean and highly durable.

From the outside, the Hyundai H-100 has a simple and straightforward exterior design. At the front, its face is reminiscent of the older generation Hyundai models. It is given bulb-type headlamps with separate low and high beams as well as variable intermittent type wipers with a washer. On the sides, it has quadrant-type mirrors with convex surfaces, which provide great views for the driver. Meanwhile, at the back, it has a wide metal stepboard for easier loading and unloading of cargo (or easier entering and exiting for the passengers). And, on top, is a manual telescopic antenna. 

Similar to most commercial vehicles that have a truck-like build, the H-100’s exterior is designed to withstand heavy-duty conditions while on the road. In terms of dimensions, the Hyundai H-100 is 4,850 mm in length, 1,740 mm in width, and 1,970 mm in height. It has a 2,430 wheelbase and a 185 mm ground clearance. It runs on a durable set of blacked-out 15-inch wheels.

In terms of suspension combination, the Hyundai H-100 utilizes a Double Wishbone and Torsion Bar Spring suspension at the front, while a Semi-Elliptical Laminated Leaf Spring at the rear. This suspension system allows this truck to have good absorption of bumps and a decent stability on the road. Although, for others, the steering might be too firm, or even heavy sometimes, because of its truck build. But, for commercial utility vehicle standards, this car offers a relatively comfortable driving experience for everyone on board. 

The Hyundai H-100 is powered by a 2.5L, 16-valve CRDi VGT DOHC diesel engine that produces a maximum power output of 130 PS and a maximum torque of 254 Nm. This commercial utility vehicle runs on a 6-speed manual transmission system. 

Within its segment, the H-100 is one of the most capable, offering strong power for high-speed driving and ample torque for climbing steep roads. However, in terms of braking, it is equipped with a hydraulic emergency brake with load sensing proportioning valve (LSPV) for added precaution. This commercial utility vehicle utilizes a ventilated disc for front braking, while a drum for rear braking.
