15 Weirdest and Strangest Vehicles You Can Drive In - Part 1

We don't need any introductions here. If you're looking for the weirdest and strangest vehicles, then you've come to the right place.

So without further ado, these are some of the most unusual vehicles you can (bravely) use on the road:

“Food” Cars

Oscar Mayer Wienermobile

Created in 1936 by Oscar Mayer’s nephew Carl, the Wienermobile is one of the strangest vehicles that has stood the test of time. There are actually six of these vehicles touring the entire U.S. even today.

Hamburger Motorcycle

Just seeing Hamburger Harry's motorcycle made our our "cheesy" hearts melt. Can we have fries to go with that?

Peas Car

When was the last time your mom told you to eat your vegetables, carrots, and peas? If they don't really appeal to you, then you can give this to her, instead.

Banana Car

Many thought British expatriate Stefve Braithwaite went "bananas" when he spent $25,000 on customizing a Ford-150 pickup truck into a banana car in 1993.

Orange Car

Ever wondered what it's like to squeeze a huge orange? Look no further--Outspan's promotional car will make it look like you really can.

“Object” / "Body Part" Cars

Cricket Bat Car

It’s probably safe to say that the person who created this 25-foot cricket bat loves the sport. And this is probably the reason why it became such a hit in India (many Indians are obsessed with cricket).

Camera Car

This car comes equipped with cameras that CAN ACTUALLY take pictures of passersby (who are probably curious about it and stop over for a look). Selfie, anyone?

Ear Car

There seems to be a universal problem when it comes to people not listening enough--or not even listening at all. Well, guess what? In the world of automobiles, the art of listening is a HUGE deal.

“Animal” Cars

Cat Car

Meow Mix's promotional car is a sure hit to all cat lovers in the world, although it looked a bit creepy when viewed from some angles.

Then again, cats can be creepy sometimes, so let's cut it some slack.

Turtle Car

We can say this with utmost certainty: This is the only turtle we know that can go faster than two to 10 kilometers per hour.

Golden Mean Snail Car

The Golden Mean Snail Car was built using an old Volkswagen Bug, and by the looks of it, is the only snail in the world that wouldn't go down well with your tummy when you eat Escargot.

“Natural” Cars

Tryane II Wood Car

Built entirely of African Mahogany using a Citroen 2CV chassis, this car can accelerate up to 100 miles per hour (161 kph), with a 50-70 miles per gallon (21-30 km/l) in fuel consumption. Sweet.

The "Wood" Car

Another “wooden car”, this version looks like a “weapon-of-destruction” that can finally slay all of Daenerys' dragons in Game of Thrones.

Wooden Motorcycle

Think cars are the only ones that can go "wood"? Think again. Istvan Puskas, a Hungarian tractor driver, made this out of firewood. (Just don't carry matches with you whenever you drive this around)

Grass Car

What happens when you combine transportation and grass together? You get a mobile garden right at your fingertips! And while this has gotten a lot of mixed reactions, it sure takes "green cars" to another level.
