ADVISORY: DPWH to repair NCR roads until Sept. 12

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that road reblocking works will be done over the course of the weekend along various roads within the National Capital Region starting later tonight.

In an advisory, the agency said that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will implement road repairs on the following roads starting 11 p.m. tonight (September 9).

• Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) northbound, Quezon City along Santolan MRT Station (EDSA Carousel Bus Lane), Cubao Bus Station second lane from sidewalk, after Aurora Boulevard to Kamuning third lane from sidewalk (intermittent section)
• Fairview Avenue southbound near Fleur De Lis to Labayane (first lane from center island)
• Fairview Avenue northbound after corner Yakal Street, (first lane from sidewalk)
• Cloverleaf EDSA northbound to outer lane segment of North Luzon Expressway (NLEX)
• Roosevelt Avenue near corner EDSA (outer lane)
• EDSA southbound Quezon City U-turn slot Service Road in front of GMA Building, Service Road third block of Kamuning Road intersection
• C-5 Service Road in front of Global Oil Gasoline Station
• Barangay Balon Bato (along Quirino Highway) before Manila North Diversion Road flyover (second inner lane)
• EDSA southbound Quezon City along Balingasa Creek to Oliveros Footbridge

The MMDA said that the aforementioned roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. September 12, (Monday).

The agency also urged that for the time being, motorists should take alternative routes.
