ADVISORY: road repairs in NCR for Jun. 2-5

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) shared the portions of roads that will be affected by weekend repairs.

In an advisory, the agency said that road reblocking (to be conducted by the Department of Public Works and Highways) shall be done on the following areas starting 11 p.m. tonight:

• C-5 Road northbound, J. Vargas Street to Ortigas Flyover approach (third lane), Pasig City
• C-5 Road southbound, in front of UP BGC (truck lane), Makati City
• Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) northbound, after Kalayaan Flyover (second lane from innermost lane), Makati City
• C-5 Road southbound, in front of Petron, Makati City
• EDSA southbound, fronting Panorama Building, and fronting Word of Hope (third lane from center island), Quezon City
• Mindanao Avenue southbound, Charbel to Rare Cars (truck lane), Quezon City
• Mindanao Avenue northbound, underpass to Unioil Gas Station (truck lane), Quezon City
• Bonifacio Avenue northbound, corner Sgt. Rivera (third lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• Bonifacio Avenue southbound, Cloverleaf to 11th Avenue (first lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• Araneta Avenue, Sto. Domingo Avenue to Mauban Street (second lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• Commonwealth Ave northbound, Commission on Audit (COA) to Kristong Hari (third lane from MRT 7 wall), Quezon City
• Commonwealth Avenue southbound, Beatriz to Intramuros Village (first and second lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• Commonwealth Avenue northbound, Diliman Doctors Hospital to Zuzuarregui Street (first, second, and fourth lane), Quezon City
• Aurora Boulevard, K0011+560-K0011+600 before F. Castillo Street (first lane from the center island), Quezon City
• Aurora Boulevard eastbound, before Gilmore Avenue (first lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• EDSA northbound, Mahal Kita Hotel to Sgt. Mariano Street (outer lane), Pasay City
• McArthur Highway southbound, (S0215LZ)-K0010+(169.50) to K0010+(-039), Malabon City
• C-3 Road North Bay northbound, fronting Navotas Motorpool and intersection, in front of Unioil Gasoline Station (truck lane), Caloocan City
• Kalayaan EDSA Flyover (rotomilling/ waterproofing/ asphalt overlay only)
• C-3 Road eastbound, between Baltazar Street and Nadurata Street (fourth lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
• C-3 Road eastbound, between Josefina Street and Dao Street (first lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
• EDSA northbound, between Gen. De Jesus Street and Gen. Tirona Street (fourth lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
• McArthur Highway southbound, between Reparo Road and Calle Cuatro (inner lane), Caloocan City
• C-5 Road Doña Julia Vargas intersection near Shell Gasoline Station, along Pasig Boulevard westbound near Universal Robina Corporation, Pasig City
• EDSA northbound, from Mapagmahal Street to Kamias Road (first lane, travel lanes, and bike lanes), Quezon City

The affected roads will become fully passable come 5 a.m. Monday (June 5). With that, motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
