Bonifacio Circle in Caloocan to be closed to traffic for Independence Day celebration
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) advised the public that the Bonifacio Monument Circle in Caloocan will be closed to traffic starting midnight of June 12 to give way to the commemoration of the 124th Anniversary of Philippine independence.

To avoid inconvenience, affected motorists are advised to take the following alternate routes:
- Vehicles from Sangandaan Samson Road going to EDSA and Manila may use Heroes Del 96 Street, turn left at 10th Avenue
- Motorists coming from Rizal Avenue to McArthur Highway can turn left to 10th Avenue, right to Heroes Del 96 Street, right to Samson Road, left to Dagohoy, left to Caimito Road, then right to Langka Street
- EDSA-bound vehicles can take 10th Avenue, left to Benito Serrano Street
- Motorists from EDSA going to Samson Road can turn right to McArthur Highway, turn left to General Pascual
- Those heading to Rizal Avenue and Samson Road from McArthur Highway may use General Pascual
- Vehicles going to EDSA from McArthur Road can use the northbound zipper lane, left at 8th Street then left turn to destination
The road closure will be lifted until after the culmination of the activity.
