Taking the 73.69 percent share of the overall local automotive market is the commercial vehicle segment after 137,944 examples were delivered to customers in the past five months. The numbers showed an 11-percent growth from the 124,242-units turned over to buyers during the same period the previous year.

On the other hand, vehicles under the passenger car category had a total of 49,247 units sold. The number of vehicles delivered to customers had a 17.6-percent growth over the 41,862 units handed over to buyers in the same period for 2023.

Per CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez, the continuing rise in sales can be attributed to the improvements in the supply and good consumer demand, combined with the increase in automotive financial options and extensive sales activities.
