Changan Motor PH discusses digitalization at annual dealers conference

In its recently held annual dealer’s conference, Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) discussed how upcoming technologies can be applied in automotive retail.

Themed “ChanganVerse” the first of a series of executive sessions for CMPI’s partner dealers also talked about the trends, challenges, and how they can be ready for the evolving dynamics of their customers. 

Further, the event talked about how CMPI dealer partners can align their goals with Changan International Corporation’s bid to engage new global markets with its brand of future-forward automotive technology.

“Apart from the usual performance reporting, we wanted to make our yearly dealers’ conference relevant and real to today’s landscape. It is a must for the entire network to be constantly learning and updating themselves because to thrive and succeed in this digital world, we must always put our customers at the front and center of everything we do, connecting with them where, when, and how they want it,” commented CMPI President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.

The activity saw guests and advocates of digitalization such as Dito Chief Operating Officer Dr. Donald Patrick Lim, UnionBank of the Philippines Customer Experience Group Senior Vice President Jaypee Soliman, Havas Media Ortega Chairman and CEO Jos Ortega, and Philippine Software Industry Association President Jonathan de Luzuriaga.

Additionally, Development Dimensions International Consultant Christine Go gave a special lecture on business continuity in the digital age.

Hosting the day-long conference (which was held at the CMPI National Headquarters in Calamba City, Laguna) was CNN Philippines Director for News and Senior Anchor Rico Hizon.
