Ford PH unveils exclusive Ranger, Everest variants

MANILA: Ford Philippines has introduced limited-edition variants of the Ranger and Everest.

In a statement, the American automaker’s local distributor shared—without disclosing the actual number—that it has started selling the Ford Ranger Sport+ 4x4 and Everest Titanium+ 4x4 with power side steps.

Per Ford Philippines Retail Product Marketing and Business Growth Director Byron Daquil said that the two products are their way of providing customers more options. 

"At Ford, we listen closely to what our customers value most—capability, style, and a vehicle that truly fits their lifestyle. The limited-edition Ranger Sport+ 4x4 and Everest Titanium+ 4x4 with power side steps are our way of giving customers even more choice, combining the rugged performance our Ranger and Everest are known for with premium accessories that reflect their individual taste,” Daquil was quoted as saying.

“Whether you're conquering the daily commute or embarking on your next adventure, these limited edition vehicles ensure you don't have to compromise between form and function. It's all about putting our customers first and offering vehicles that are as dynamic and diverse as the Filipinos who drive them,” he added.

These are the two newest products’ distinct portions.

Ford Ranger Sport+ 4x4

To easily distinguish among the other Ford Ranger variants, the limited edition Sport+ 4x4 wears black sport bars, matte black fender flares, and the F-O-R-D grille.

Powering this is a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine paired to a six-speed automatic gearbox, which can dish out:

This off-road ready pickup truck also has an electronic locking rear differential. 

Packaged with a five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, the Ford Ranger Sport+ 4x4 has a starting price of P1.999 million. This month, the offering can be had cash savings of up to P380,000 for select colors.

The body color options available for the Ford Ranger Sport+ 4x4 are:

• Absolute Black
• Arctic White
• Meteor Gray colors

Ford Everest Titanium+ 4x4 with Power Side Steps

Meanwhile, the Ford Everest Titanium+ 4x4’s limited version has power side steps that was then seen on higher-priced models like the Expedition. This portion automatically extends when a door opens to help passengers get in or out of the vehicle.

Under the Ford Everest Titanium+ 4x4 is a 2.0-liter biturbo diesel engine. Mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, the mill can give out:

Further, it is also equipped with six selectable drive modes namely Normal, Eco, Tow Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts and Sand, as well as an E-Shifter that brings a new level of high-tech control with optimized performance for different surfaces, road conditions, and vehicle usage. 

Bundled with a five-year warranty, Ford Everest Titanium+ 4x4 with power side steps is being retailed for P2.64 million. Its color options are as follows:

• Aluminum Metallic
• Meteor Gray

Until the end of the month, the Ford Everest Titanium+ 4x4 with power side steps is offered with cash discounts of up to P170,000 for both colors.
