Inchcape, Stellantis end Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram distributorship in PH

MANILA: Inchcape Philippines and Stellantis have agreed to terminate the distribution agreement for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram in the country.

Set to take effect June 2027, the “mutual agreement” between the two firms came after the local entity turned over the Mazda C5 Pasig dealership to the latter’s arm in the country.

In a statement, Inchcape Philippines mentioned that the decision reflects the Group's "ongoing approach to portfolio management," with the company regularly reviewing its brand partnerships to ensure its portfolio remains aligned with its business priorities and strategic growth ambitions.

Amid the development, Inchcape said that it is still committed to the Philippine market and will continue to focus its investments and capabilities on areas where it sees the strongest opportunities for sustainable long-term growth.

The company also said it values its longstanding relationship with Stellantis and will continue to partner with the automaker in other markets.

"Our priority is to ensure a smooth transition, and we will continue to work closely with Stellantis to support our customers, dealers, and partners while honoring our existing commitments," Inchcape Managing Director for South Asia and the Pacific Alex Hammett said.

Hammett added that the company’s focus is now growing its current portfolio and “bringing new products” in the Philippines—which could mean introducing either new models or expanding its brand lineup for the local market.

With this, Inchcape Philippines is now left with:

• Mercedes-Benz
• Changan
• Harley-Davidson
• Jaguar Land Rover
