Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is targeting three million cumulative vehicle sales in the country this year, provided market conditions continue to improve.TMP President Masando Hashimoto bared the target in his speech during the firm’s anniversary celebration, saying that it is attainable as market conditions continue to improve.
“While oil prices and supply chain pressures remain volatile, we are seeing encouraging signs of market recovery, and we are steadily rebuilding our sales momentum,” Hashimoto said.
“We are ready to respond with significantly better supply for our high-demand models. Now, success depends on execution,” he added.

Vehicle production
TMP’s core is its commitment to local vehicle production.
Prior to being present at Santa Rosa Laguna (which was declared as a “Special Economic Zone” through Presidential Proclamation 381), manufacturing operations was conducted in Bicutan, Parañaque City.
Now, the 82-hectare Toyota Special Economic Zone (TSEZ)— manned by a workforce of over 4,500—has already produced more than 1.21 million units of completely knocked down units.

Further, Toyota also made investments that pushed technological and manpower skill upgrades locally—across manufacturing, logistics, sales and service operations.
In more than three decades, TMP manufactured the following models:
- Corolla
- Lite Ace
- Crown
- Corona
- Tamaraw FX
- Revo
- Camry
At present, TMP is building the Vios, Innova, and newly-revived Tamaraw—with its volume hitting 63,803 units in 2025.
‘Triple Crown’ holder for over 20 years
TMP also led the local passenger car, commercial vehicle and overall car industry sales for 24 consecutive years—keeping the Triple Crown recognition over the said period in 2025.
Notably, the Philippines is Toyota’s third largest market in the Southeast Asian region and 10th largest worldwide.
Giving Back to Society
The recent anniversary is also TMP’s 38th year of contributing to societal and sustainable development.
Photo from Toyota Motor Philippines“As envisioned by our Founding Chairman, Dr. George S.K. Ty, TMP’s core reason for being has always been nation-building. So, the vehicles we build—like our very own Tamaraw—are not just products; they are engines of mobility that empower small businesses, support families, and elevate everyday lives across our country,” TMP Chairman Alfred Ty said.
“In turn, it enables TMP to provide stable, meaningful jobs, foster personal growth, and uplift thousands of Filipino households throughout the Toyota ecosystem. This is our purpose—to keep people at the center of everything we do,” he added.

This commemorates the halfway milestone of the All Toyota Green Wave Project, the entire TMP Network’s initiative to support reforestation efforts across the country.
