Customers can now pre-order upcoming Toyota Ativ

MANILA: The reservation period for the arriving all-new Toyota Ativ in the Philippines has begun.

Based on the latest social media post, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is inviting customers to pre-order a unit at any of the company’s dealerships or via its online reservation portal.

“Make the first move this season with your trusted brand's most affordable HEV – a smart, stylish, and dynamic electrified choice for the road ahead!” TMP stated in the caption.

Further, in the photo, the company said that the nameplate will have its formal launch in October 2025.

It can be recalled that a few weeks ago, Carmudi Philippines reported about TMP’s plan to introduce the nameplate in the country as shared by TMP First Vice President of Sales Operations Elijah Sue Marcial. A teaser over the firm’s Facebook page a few days after confirmed such a disclosure.

There, the subcompact sedan is offered in two new energy vehicle options namely Premium and GR Sport.

The aforementioned variations are equipped with a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, in-line double overhead cam, 16-valve, hybrid engine with dual variable valve timing with intelligence technology (2NR-VEX); an electric motor and a 0.76 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion energy bank, which can give a peak churn of:

Power is sent to the front wheels using an electronic-continuous variable transmission.

Based on tests following R101 standards, the car has the capability to do 29.4-kilometers-per-liter fuel consumption.
