Diesel, kerosene to go up by almost P3/L

Following the big-time price hike in diesel last week, oil companies are set to raise its price again tomorrow by nearly P3 per liter.

Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petron, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Unioil will jack up the retail price of diesel by P2.70 per liter. They will also add P0.80 per liter on gasoline products.

Aside from that, many of the aforementioned companies will have a P2.90-per-liter increase on kerosene’s retail price.

Other firms are expected to implement the same adjustment.

The movement on pump prices will start at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.

Last week, oil industry players in the country have already placed a P6.85-per-liter increase on diesel, P1.20 per liter on gasoline, and P3.50 per liter on kerosene.
