Fancy getting a Bentley sofa?

British automotive marque Bentley is extending the luxury in its cars to other tasteful objects. Recently, it announced its venture to high-rise residences, and before that it showcased a line of lifestyle accessories.

Now, Bentley has offered furniture with the Bentley Home 2021 Collection. Included in the collection is the Aldford Table, Ramsey Sofa and Loveseat, and the Styal Desk.

The Bentley Home 2021 Collection is said to offer "sustainability, cutting-edge technology, pioneering design, and extraordinary craftsmanship."

The sustainable quality comes from the Marm / More, a new fabric developed and patented for Bentley Home. This fabric is said to use dust, marble, and cotton, which are renewable resources that result in a unique fabric finish.

Bentley added that the pieces feature "distinctive lines and signature curves," which were penned by Bentley Home architects in collaboration with Bentley Design and furniture designer Carlo Colombo.

The Aldford Table is made distinguishable with its legs that extend from the floor, and flow with the underside of the table top. This design cue accentuates "the sense of lightness and suspension," Bentley said.

Its design is enhanced by the three layers that make up the tabletop: the underside is lacquered in glossy black, and a metal profile runs around the perimeter.

Bentley added that the Aldford table presented a completely new constructional challenge for the designers at the Luxury Living Group, and the craftspeople at Bentley Home. The double curve of the base, and the sloping edge of the top, were achieved using the very latest milling techniques.

Customers can choose from three finishes for the legs: Burr Walnut, Smoked Liquid Ambar, or leather. The top is available in Calacatta or Valentine Grey marble, glossy Burr Walnut, Smoked Liquid Amber or Warm Grey Fiddleback Sycamore. Degradé lacquering is applied to all wood finishes.

Degradé, an intricate lacquering process that uses four coats of varnish, is key to the overall aesthetic of the Bentley Home 2021 Collection. All the wood used in collection pieces have underwent this process.

With the seats appearing to be suspended off the floor, the Ramsey Loveseat and Sofa are said to appear "to defy gravity." These pieces and their tapered shell flows into armrests that reach upwards like outstretched wings.

A gun metal gray insert frames the profile, reaching down below the seat, which further emphasizes the defiance of gravity.

Both the Ramsey Sofa and Loveseat are available in a choice of coverings: Warm Grey Fiddleback Sycamore, Smoked Liquidambar, Burr Walnut root, or alternatively, covered in leather or the marble powder fabric.

Styal Desk, said to be the masterpiece of the 2021 Bentley Home collection, comes during these times where the office has entered homes. Bentley described this as a refined and luxurious piece for the office space.

A succession of graceful curves run the length of the three-meter wooden frame, covered in a choice of leather or veneer, with the sideboard elegantly positioned for balanced proportion.

The desk top is punctuated with a gun metal gray insert, and can be covered in either leather or veneer. "Slim and light, extreme from all perspectives, Styal dramatically reimagines the experience of working from home," Bentley shared.

The structure and top can be customized in a choice of: Warm Grey Fiddleback Sycamore, Smoked Liquidambar, or Burr Walnut root, with a glossy, brushed finishing.

Could these pieces complement one of the units in the soon-to-rise Bentley Residences?
