  • JBL and Infinity Philippines made the announcement that it is now carrying the two comebacking audio marques during a special media event a day before the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2023 where the company will participate as an exhibitor.

Although the two brands are both under the umbrella of Harman International (subsidiary of the Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.), JBL and Infinity Car Audio have varying traits from each other.

The new distributor in the country said that the JBL Car Audio embodies the personality of a live concert that is akin to the likes of band music, which is aligned with its generational tagline, “Loud and Clear.” The JBL system’s characteristic leans toward performance and bass while Infinity Car Audio puts emphasis on bringing out finer musical details and characteristics, particularly preferred by listeners of jazz and instrumentals, the blues, or vocal tracks.

Further, the new local arm of the two audio brands shared that a total of six cars have been fitted with JBL and Infinity Audio products and were prepared in time for the much-awaited automotive event locally.

    JBL Stadium

JBL’s current top-of-the-line high-fidelity (hi-fi) sound quality (SQ) series is the JBL Stadium. Engineered to bring out the powerful sound that the brand is known for, the JBL Stadium provides crisp sound via sleek and multi-element speakers and component systems.

Meanwhile, the marque’s mid-range offering is the JBL Club. The product line was created to deliver superior JBL performance and fit into most factory speaker locations, taking the in-cabin experience a notch level higher than a regular upgrade — perfect for car audio beginners. Those who want to take it up a notch may opt for the recently-launched JBL Club SQ — positioned right below the Stadium.

    Infinity Kappa

On the other hand, Infinity’s flagship series is the Kappa Perfect that guarantees high power handling as well as sound pressure level capability, and is designed to dish out the finest musical details. Right below it is the Kappa line, created for the perfect blend of deep, robust bass and excellent detail delivery. The Kappa is also known for its refined aesthetic, featuring two-tone component and tweeter designs. Lastly, the Infinity Reference serves as the marque’s mid-range product tier. The entry point to the Infinity audio experience, the Reference line was optimized to fit most factory speaker locations.

Further, the latest distributor of the brands' products added that more information about the JBL and Infinity Car Audio can be found at their respective following official Facebook and Instagram accounts.
