Foton PH Expands to Palawan

Foton Motor Philippines Inc. (FMPI) bolstered its reputation as the fastest-growing Chinese car maker in the country today by opening its 27th dealership in Palawan last January 17, Thursday. With the new dealership, Foton hopes to become the locale's partner in economic growth by providing a wide range of passenger and commercial vehicles serving various purposes at cost-effective prices.

The grand opening of Foton's Palawan dealership, located along the North National Highway in Barangay Tagburos, Puerto Princesa City, was led by official representatives from Foton-Asia Pacific, official Foton country distributor United Asia Automotive Group Inc., (UAAGI), and authorized dealer Steering Wheel, Inc. (SWI).

SWI president Engr. Tederico Tiotangco of SWI led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was attended by VIPs such as Dan Hong Kai, president of Foton-Asia Pacific, Robert Sytin, president of Foton Philippines, and Governor Jose Alvarez of Palawan.

Celebrating its 12th year in the country, FMPI is targeting to have a total of 32 dealers in the country, and release more vehicle variants and models that cater to the Filipino's preference in automotive products.
