Here are the judges for the 22nd Henry Ford Awards

Ford Philippines revealed that the panel of judges who will evaluate, shortlist, and select the winners through a two-phase judging format for this year’s Henry Ford Awards (HFA) include esteemed academics and business executives.

The first phase judges are:

• Kara David – University of the Philippines Diliman Department of Journalism Chairperson
• Christian Esguerra – University of Santo Tomas Department of Communication and Media Studies Assistant Professor
• Manny Mogato – University of Santo Tomas Department of Communication and Media Studies Lecturer
• Severino Sarmenta – Ateneo De Manila University Department of Communication Assistant Professor
• Prestoline Suyat – Polytechnic University of the Philippines Department of Journalism Assistant Professor

Judges for the second phase of the 22nd HFA are:

• Bea Bautista – Meta Philippines Communications Manager
• Owen Cammayo – BPI Foundation Executive Director
• Kenneth Lerona – Home Credit Philippines Head of Public Relations
• Krisca Tadena – GCash Head of Media Relations and Partnerships

Finally, Ford Philippines announced the special judges for this year’s HFA:

• Chrissy Dalusong – JTI Philippines Marketing Communications and Public Relations Manager
• Dino Ocampo – Ogilvy Group Philippines Executive Creative Director
• Aaron Palabyab – Professional Film Director and Photographer
• Dix Perez – Penthouse Studios Founder

“We are very pleased and excited to be welcoming the members of our judging panel for the HFA this year. They all carry the huge responsibility of selecting this year’s winners and we thank them for accepting the challenge and sharing their expertise to continue the legacy of the HFA,” said Ford Philippines and Asia Pacific Communications Director EJ Francisco.

Per Ford Philippines, a total of 13 honors are to be awarded to members of the motoring media for this year’s HFA. They are:

5. Automotive Green Feature of the Year

2. Ford Automotive Video Feature of the Year

People Categories

1. Automotive Editor of the Year
2. Automotive Writer of the Year

Team Categories

1. Best Broadsheet Motoring Section
2. Best Online Automotive Outlet

To note, Carmudi Philippines have previously won awards from HFA, specifically, the Best Automotive Column, awarded to the publication’s late Online Editor Patrick Everett Tadeo, and Best Automotive Lifestyle Feature, awarded to  Eric Tipan.
