Honda recently unveiled the latest iteration of its dual-sport motorcycle offering, the XRM125.

Exclusively available in the Philippines, Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) reported that the XRM125 model already has a production volume of more than 1.83 million units since December 2001.

HPI President Susumu Mitsuishi expressed confidence with the launching of the updated version of the model.

“The all-new XRM125 unleashes the true potential of dual-sports motorcycle riding. Riders can only expect to experience versatility and toughness to help them face any riding environment. With an all-new design and improved features reflecting its toughness and durability, Filipino riders can experience the joy of mobility to the fullest,” Mitsuishi was quoted as saying

The all-new XRM125 is powered by an air-cooled, 125cc, four-stroke single overhead cam (SOHC) engine capable of dishing out more than 9.6 horsepower and 9.55Nm of torque, matched to a four-speed, constant mesh gearbox. This engine has a 65.4 kilometer per liter fuel consumption rating (based on the World Motorcycle Test Cycle). It has a 3.9-liter tank.

Aside from that, the all-new XRM has disc brakes fitted on both wheels, (except for the Dual Sport variant, which has disc brake in front and a drum brake for the rear).

The all-new Honda XRM125 also wears the headlight that has the same design as the CRF150L. Aside from that, it also bears a tougher look with its body shape and stripe design in the cover and the added undercowl that makes it more durable and reliable.

The digital speedometer on the XRM125 gives it a more modern look while making the meter display easy to read.

The all-New XRM125 comes in three variants: Dual Sport (DS) with a suggested price of P67,900; the Dual Sport Extreme (DSX) at P71,400; and the XRM125 Motard at P73,600. It comes in the following colors: Dark Green, Fighting Red, Black, Ceramic Gray and Aura Blue.
