Honda US to offer 2023 Accord in 6 variants, hybrid powertrain

 Honda confirmed that the 2023 Accord will be offered in the United States (US) in six variants, namely LX, EX, Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring.

Per the automotive brand, the first three trims will be fitted with a 1.5-liter turbocharged in-line four-cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) while the other three will be equipped with a 2.0-liter in-line four-cylinder Atkinson powerplant with a two-motor hybrid system.

The former makes 192 horsepower (hp) and 260.31Nm of torque while the latter makes more with 204 horses and 334.88Nm of pulling power.

Across the board, all 2023 Honda Accord models come with Honda Sensing; Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure; 10 airbags, including next-generation Driver and front passenger front airbags; and a 10.2-inch driver information interface screen.

The LX and EX grades get a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with volume and tuning knobs. Meanwhile, the Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring grades get a 12.3-inch HD color touchscreen with a volume knob.

Honda has yet to disclose the official launch date of the 2023 Accord. However, reports say that it will arrive in the US early next year.
