Hyundai to showcase Ioniq models at 2023 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) is highlighting its all-electric Ioniq models at the 2023 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival.

Per the Korean automaker’s distributor in the country, the Ioniq 5 electric vehicle will be available for test drive while the upcoming Ioniq 6 will be on full display.

“Hyundai is thrilled to once again be a part of Autofocus’ bi-yearly activity, as it enables us to connect with more customers and provide them access to the latest cars and innovations that we have to offer. Technically, this is our second time to participate under the management of HMPH. We couldn’t be more eager though to utilize this opportunity to continue sharing our campaign on uplifting the quality of life among Filipino motorists through smarter mobility options,” HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete said.

To note, the Hyundai Ioniq 6 — officially revealed at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2023 — was recognized as this year’s World Car of The Year awardee. The aforementioned model has an extended range of 545 kilometers and has the bi-directional charging capability.

Visitors can see it in metal and discover its vehicle-to-load (V2L) function more interactively as it powers up an ice cream bar. Look forward to frozen sweet treats perfect for the warm season being served for free upon registration.

Meanwhile, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 — the brand’s first model that introduced the brand’s pioneering Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and integrated power electric system — was the 2022 World Car of The Year winner.

Relatedly, HMPH has also made available the following models for test drives at the event: Creta, Stargazer, Staria, and Tucson.

In addition, customers who will test drive are entitled to receive a Hyundai-branded golf umbrella while those who will place a reservation at the venue will get a P10,000-discount voucher.
