MANILA: Following its success in Thailand and Australia, Isuzu has finally updated the mu-X for the Philippine market.

    Although virtually the same size as the previous iteration, the 2025 Isuzu mu-X boasts updates in terms of looks that are made up of:

    • Side steps in matte or gloss black finish
    • 20-inch turbine-designed alloy wheels

    Meanwhile, the new Isuzu mu-X’s top-tier variant has a cabin covered mostly in all-black leather with piano black accents complemented by modern amenities such as:

    • Seven-inch multi-information display
    • Multi-functional steering wheel
    • 10.1-inch touchscreen with Wireless Android Auto and Wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity-mated to an eight-speaker set-up
    • Multiple charging ports and wireless charging dock

    Since it is a refreshed version, the new Isuzu mu-X maintained the 3.0-liter and 1.9-liter diesel powertrain options.

    Further, the spruced-up Isuzu mu-X’s mill options are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

    In other markets, the latest Isuzu mu-X already dropped the RZ4E for the RZ4F 2.2-liter engine and updated the gearbox to an eight-speed automatic revtronic.

    Further, the new Isuzu mu-X boasts technologies that include:

    • 360-degree camera with underfloor view
    • Smart tailgate
    • Anti-lock braking system with brake assist
    • Hill start assist and descent control
    • Brake override system
    • Push start/stop
    • Wireless charger

    Customers may have the 2025 Isuzu mu-X in Eiger Gray, Onyx Black, Satin Pearl White, Mercury Silver, Splash White body colors. The model is being offered in the following variants:

    • LS-E 4x4: P2.67 million
    • LS-E 4x2: P2.32 million
    • LS-A 4x2: P2.069 million
    • RZ4E LS: P1.725 million

    IPC shared that it would bring the vehicle at the Manila International Auto Show slated April 10-13 at the World Trade Center in Pasay for display and test drives.
