Jetour Dau ready to serve customers in Central Luzon

Jetour Auto Philippines Incorporated (JAPI) has expanded its reach to Mabalacat City in Pampanga with the inauguration of a dealership in the area.

Bolstering its reach in Central Luzon, the Chinese automaker’s local distributor — in partnership with the Laus Group of Companies — opened the Jetour Dau.

Located at the Tire City Building (in front of Puregold Dau) along McArthur Highway, Barangay Dau in Mabalacat, Pampanga, the 600-square-meter facility boasts a showroom that can as much as eight units (made up of the Dashing, X70, T2, and Ice Cream) and a service area that has three bays (one equipped with an electric vehicle charging station).

During the formal opening ceremony, JAPI President Yves Licup shared the establishment’s importance in tapping the market in the region.

“Mabalacat City serves as the socioeconomic hub of the Central Luzon region, a progressive area that covers the provinces of Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Tarlac, Pangasinan, and even all the way north to La Union. This market would be very receptive to the design, engineering, and functionalities of the world-renowned SUVs, Crossovers, PHEVs, and EVs of Jetour,” he explained.

He also noted LGC’s gravity in the local automotive industry.

“The Laus Group of Companies is considered the largest multi-brand network in the Philippines today. As such, we trust the Group to enable Jetour Auto Dau to achieve, and even surpass, its targets and objectives,” Licup said.

Founded by Levy Laus in 1977, the firm has grown from an automotive sub-dealership to a diversified conglomerate heavily invested in non-life insurance, media, food, and hospitality. To note, LGC now has more than 80 dealerships across Metro Manila, Central and Northern Luzon.

Apart from Licup, present during the Dau dealership opening were JAPI executives Eryx Guiang (Aftersales Director), Hilda San Juan (Sales Deputy Director), Jonathan Augusto San Miguel (Dealer Development Manager), and Julie Ann Sevilla (National Sales Manager) as well as LGC officials namely Lisset Laus-Velasco (Chairperson), Paul Tristan Laus (President), Carisa Laus (Vice President Executive Director), Dior Laus (First Vice President Executive Director), and Levy Adrian Laus (Executive Director).

Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo also graced the event.

Following the recent inauguration, JAPI reached a network of 22 dealerships around the country and shall open seven more in key locations within the country soon.
