Last call: PHOX 2022 registration open till Sept. 30

Mototesto, Petron Corporation, and Motolite Philippines are calling all campers and outdoor enthusiasts for this year’s biggest overlanding event in the country— the Philippine Overland Expedition (PHOX) 2022.

Per the companies who organized the event, registration for the competition will remain open until the end of the month, September 30. Those interested can visit the PHOX 2022 website (https://phox2022.mototesto.com/) to learn more about the event.

Registrants entering the event as competitor teams will have to equip their rigs with mud-terrain tires and recovery equipment — like a snorkel and winch. They will also have to pay a P25,0000 registration fee inclusive of P5,000 worth of Petron fuel and P3,000 worth of exclusive event giveaways. The overlanding competition is scheduled for October 12-16, with 30 teams traversing the uncharted terrains of General Nakar, Quezon.

Teams who took advantage of the event’s early registration promo were able to cop Motolite’s newest product, the Excel EBF. The battery is designed for endurance and gives the best performance even under the most grueling conditions making it perfect for rigs braving the overlanding event.

The winning team will receive tons of exciting freebies, a P500,000 cash prize, and of course — bragging rights for being the first to win the competition.

Meanwhile, those joining PHOX 2022 as campers will be able to register for the event until October 7. Registration fee is priced at P7,500 per rig, regardless of the number of its occupants. The registration package is inclusive of event tokens, plus a 70-percent off voucher for the Motolite Excel EBF battery.

Campers will begin their Overland Expo on October 14, starting from General Nakar Municipal Hall before they set-up at the campsite for three days and two nights of off-grid, nature-loving adventure.

On top of the package inclusions, CST Tires is offering an exclusive buy-three-take-one promo to all registered competitors and campers. In preparation for this overlanding experience, competitors, campers, and interested participants gathered last September 11 for the official PHOX 2022 briefing at The Clubhouse at Third Greenmeadows. They were given an overview of what to expect and everything that they need to know before they embark on this lifestyle and adventure like no other.
