Lexus to showcase 2022 LX and premier NX Plug-in Hybrid EV at 2021 LA Auto Show
Japanese luxury brand Lexus is set to showcase the all-new 2022 Lexus LX 600 and 2022 Lexus NX at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show this coming November 19-28.

The 2022 NX comes in four powertrains that include a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine and the company’s first-ever Lexus plug-in hybrid electric engine. According to Lexus, guests can finally check out the all-new 2022 LX 600, which is scheduled to arrive at US dealerships by next year. The brand’s flagship sport utility vehicle (SUV), Lexus shared, “brings unparalleled capability, luxury and human-centered technology to the diversified model portfolio.”
Powering the full-size luxury SUV is an all-new 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine, the LX 600 offers seamless power and efficiency.
To be seen at the event are the first-ever Lexus LX Ultra Luxury and Lexus LX F Sport trim in Los Angeles, which are two of five grades available.
The Ultra Luxury variety wears the Lexus-first four-seat, with special attention paid to the rear passenger space and their experience. On the other hand, the F Sport option offers an athletic design touches and handling.
Meanwhile, the all-new 2022 Lexus NX boasts an entirely new platform making it longer, wider and taller for more passenger and cargo space.
The latest NX is offered in four new powertrains that include a new 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine and the first-ever Lexus plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (the NX 450h+) with an EPA-estimated 38-kilometer range on electric power.
The 2022 Lexus NX is equipped with next-generation Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 technology and Digital Latch with Safe Exit Assist to alert the driver and passengers to avoid the risk of accidental door contact with vehicles or cyclists.
New for 2022, the North American-developed Lexus Interface multimedia system is incorporated with a new Voice Assistant designed with voice recognition with natural language understanding and has wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.
With the Lexus Interface User Profile feature, the driver’s personalized settings such as screen mode and preferences such as audio favorites, can be retained in the cloud and accessible on the go in other Lexus Interface equipped vehicles.
The Lexus booth will have a Lexus Interface simulator, allowing guests to engage in the features of the all-new elegant, intuitive connected multimedia system. Auto show attendees can also take part in the Mark Levinson in-car listening experience, the sound system that produces impeccable sound that immerses the driver in every ride.
