LTO-NCR gives student permit applicants free theoretical driving course for Jan. 2023

The arm of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in the National Capital Region announced that it is giving free 15-hour theoretical driving course (TDC) sessions this month to those who will apply for student permits.

The agency offered the free services (which is a requirement for the application of student driver’s permit) that will teach hopefuls the fundamentals on driving a vehicle such as roads signs and markings, rules, courtesy, among others.

The free TDC sessions will be held at LTO-NCR West Regional Office-Driver’s Education Center (DEC) at 20 G. Araneta Avenue, Barangay Sto. Domingo, Quezon City on the following dates:

• January 10 and 11, 2023 (Tuesday and Wednesday; 8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
• January 12 and 13, 2023 (Thursday and Friday; 8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
• January 17 and 18, 2023 (Tuesday and Wednesday; 8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
• January 19 and 20, 2023 (Thursday and Friday; 8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
• January 24 and 25, 2023 (Tuesday and Wednesday; 8 a.m.-5 p.m.)
• January 26 and 27, 2023 (Thursday and Friday; 8 a.m.-5 p.m.)

However, the LTO-NCR said last January 6 on its official Facebook page that the slots for the month were already filled.

Those who have failed to avail the free TDC classes for may wait for the upcoming sessions for next month, which will be announced soon.

The LTO-NCR noted that applicants who were able to book an appointment must personally attend two-day sessions.
