LTO spot checks yield 5 bus drivers tested positive for illegal drugs
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) revealed that five public utility bus drivers in Metro Manila tested positive for use of illegal drugs during the spot check conducted by the agency.

Next, Tugade dropped by Araneta bus terminal in Cubao and conducted similar inspections.
LTO reported that out of the 60 bus drivers and conductors in Araneta bus terminal, one tested positive for drug use.
“The LTO is focusing its efforts to ensure the safety of those traveling not only through public vehicles but also private cars. The agency will not tire of constantly reminding our countrymen that we can save lives by staying safe on the road and by following traffic rules,” Tugade said.
